Hoover vacuum cleaners are first manufactured by an American company Hoover in the year 1907. The invention of this vacuum cleaner is very interesting. It is said that a janitor Murray Spangler who was suffering from asthma made a tool using a fan, a pillow, a tin box and a broom handle to keep him away from dust. Then he named the tool as “Suction Sweeper”. After one year, Murray got into a partnership with W. H. “Boss” Hoover a leather goods manufacturing shop and started manufacturing the vacuum cleaners.
The reason behind the growing popularity of Hoover is its exclusive features, which made it one of the leading brands in the industry today. Hoover introduced a technology called “cyclonic vacuum”, which is capable of sucking dust and dirt particles from hard surfaces, dashboard areas and delicate materials.
They also introduced another feature named as “beater bar”, which helps the vacuum cleaner to remove more dust from the carpets. Other important features that were invented by Hoover include the disposable bags, self-propelling vacuum, side-mounted house and front headlight.
The vacuum cleaners manufactured by Hoover are light weight models weighing less than 12 lbs. They use “Wind Tunnel Technology”, which is patented by Hoover and comes with hepa filtration bags which have the ability to filter out dust particles, pollen etc to 0.3 microns. The main two models of these vacuum cleaners are Uprights and Canister.
The Upright model UH70015 has the “bagless wind tunnel” feature that allows suction very close to the ground and prevents the dust from dodging back into the air. It also comes with an aluminum lightweight wand, dusting brush and eight-foot stretchable hose.
The Canister model UH30010COM has the same “bagless wind tunnel” feature with a more powerful suction and a unique nozzle, which can clean the areas that are difficult to reach. It also comes with a carrying strap that increases its mobility and allows the vacuum cleaner to go anywhere.
Hoover vacuum cleaners can do an excellent job as they can remove stains from your carpet. It is also good in removing pet hairs. The SpinScrub brush that comes with the vacuum cleaners helps you in deep down cleaning.
Since it is a popular brand, its spare parts are easily available in the market and it is very easy to repair as well. Priced under $400 it is a good option to choose, as it comes with a 6 years warranty that makes it worth for your money.
