Oreck Vacuum Cleaners

In the year 1963, a man named David Oreck started manufacturing Oreck Vacuum Cleaners for hotels. His company Oreck Corporation was located at New Orleans in the state of Louisiana. The vacuum cleaners that were designed by David Oreck were compact and lightweight, which made job of the room cleaners easy but those vacuum cleaners were never been praised for good looks. However, the performance was always better than its prettier cousins.

Unlike others, Oreck does not use an outer plastic casing to cover the dust bag, which is the main reason for being lighter than any other vacuum cleaners. The dust bag is kept in a simple looking bag that is made of a lightweight material, which makes changing of the dust bag much easier.

The vacuum cleaners also comes with a built in hepa filter that can trap 99.9% of allergens and particles as small as 0.3 microns. Oreck offers a large variety of models to choose from but for uprights, it has only four basic models that include U2000, XLPRO14T, Pro 12 Series and Premier Series.

Oreck U2000 series is well known in the hotel industry. Its ability to reach under the furniture with a fully extendable handle along with the lightweight design makes it popular in the hotels, as it makes their daily cleaning activities easier. On the other hand, Oreck XLPRO14T has a lager variety with a 1000-watt dual motor and additional features and attachments. It also has a 9-foot hose, which increases the level of cleanliness.

If anyone wants to buy a vacuum cleaner manufactured by Oreck then the first place will be the company website. There is also an option of visiting an Oreck store in your locality. In case, if you have any difficulty finding an Oreck store then just key in your zip code in their website and it will give you the location of the nearest store that you can visit.

If you think that it is getting tough for you to choose from the existing models then simply give a call to their technical help desk and tell them your requirements. They will guide you through.

Oreck Vacuum Cleaners are still a major player in the market of vacuum cleaners, as their price range starts from $300 to $700. Although, it lacks in looks but it has the advantages of high performance, easy maintenance and affordable price that make an obvious choice even after so many years.
